Askew Security Group was built on real experience — the kind you can't learn from a textbook.

Our founder is a former Armed Forces operator who served on Operation Herrick in Afghanistan, where he learned what professional security really means: discipline, vigilance and staying calm under pressure.

Since leaving the military, he's applied that training across commercial security, events and some of the country's most demanding environments — from major festivals to corporate events, and TV and film production for shows you'd recognise.

He's also worked across many different business environments, giving him a real understanding of how different organisations operate and what they need.

But security is only half the story. He's also spent years in project management, business development and customer-facing roles, including running his own business. That means he treats every client like a customer, not just a job: clear communication, honest advice, and a service that's professional without being stuffy.
